In 2024, the Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to the Japan Confederation of A- and H-bomb Sufferers Organizations (Nihon Hidankyo).
This was favorably covered by legacy media such as NHK and TBS.
The legacy media and the hibakusha said that the hibakusha movement had forced the Japanese government and the current Japanese military to give up nuclear armament, and that demilitarizing Japan had brought peace to Japan.
When Barack F. Obama visited Hiroshima and gave a speech, he said things like: 1. "SOMEONE" dropped the atomic bomb, which caused the people of Hiroshima and the Japanese people to suffer.
2. The Japanese military committed a terrible war crime by forcing American troops to go on the Bataan Death March in the Philippines.
This speech has been preserved by various media outlets.
In other words, the US President said he doesn't know who dropped the nuclear bomb on Hiroshima.
Therefore, as an American, he said that the American people don't need to apologize to Japanese and Hibakusya.
Yoshiaki Yano, a retired Japanese Army veteran and general, said in a YouTube video that South Korea will deploy nuclear-powered submarines carrying nuclear missiles within the next few years.
In a recent survey, 70% of South Koreans said South Korea needs to have nuclear missiles to counter North Korea's nuclear missiles.
The only countries surrounding Japan that do not possess nuclear missiles are Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
I'll say it again, Hibakusya groups and legacy media have always opposed Japan building up its military power.
And Hibakysya group and legacy media are still opposed to Japan possessing nuclear missiles.
Their argument is that if Japan possesses nuclear missiles, nuclear war shall break out.
And if Japan does not possess nuclear missiles, permanent peace will continue on All Japan .
This argument is completely opposite to the argument of South Korea, Pakistan, and other countries.
And Japan's legacy media agrees with and praises this claim.
And the Japanese media is working hard to prevent Japan from possessing nuclear weapons.
But unfortunately, supported by the perverse delusions of these atomic bomb survivors, if the Japanese military does not retain nuclear missiles, many nuclear missiles will be dropped on Japan as a result, and 100 million people will become new atomic bomb survivors.
Unfottunately ,the actions of Hibakusya will bring into existence 100 million atomic bomb survivors in Japan.
